Free and open source
The open-source Thock is MIT-licensed and installs from a Homebrew cask or its GitHub releases. Its packs come mostly from the free kbsim and Mechvibes sets.
Mechvibes is MIT-licensed and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Its community page lists 94 packs; the page states no licence for them, so where each recording came from is unclear. That matters only if you plan to share or reuse them.
Free with paid extras
Tacque is free with an optional tip. KeyBell is free with lifetime unlocks. Kachunk is free with two packs, and USD 4.99 unlocks the rest.
Free trials
Klakk gives you 3 days, then a one-time unlock. Teclo gives you 7 days of everything, no account needed, then $4.99 once. You can also hear every Teclo pack in your browser without installing anything.
