The short answer
- Pick Tacque if you want it free, need it silent in calls without thinking about it, want custom packs, or want the app in your own language (it lists 34).
- Pick Teclo if you are on macOS 13 or 14, want more than six sounds, want trackpad and scroll sounds, or want the keycap pet.
Six styles against sixteen packs
Tacque lists “six hand-tuned sound styles, from soft tactile to typewriter”. Teclo has 16 packs: nine keyboards from silent switches to a buckling spring, a typewriter and six packs that are not keyboards at all. Play any of them in the browser.
