The short answer

Two different keyboards

FunKey’s listing opens with “Transform your iPhone typing experience” and lists “Works as a custom iOS keyboard extension” and “Synchronized haptic feedback for every key press”. You install it, switch your iPhone to the FunKey keyboard, and its keys click as you tap. Its 25+ profiles include MX Brown, Alpha Click, MX Oreo, Zen Rock, Smooth Line, Retro Punk, Typewriter, Bubble Pop, Blossom, Space Cadet and ASMR.

Teclo has no on-screen keyboard. It sits in the Mac’s menu bar, listens for key presses under the Input Monitoring permission, and plays one of 16 synthesized packs on every key, with separate press and release sounds and its own sounds for Space, Return and Delete. It also plays mouse clicks, scroll ticks and trackpad swipes.

Typewriter and bubble on both

Two of FunKey’s profiles have counterparts in Teclo. Teclo’s Typewriter is a typebar slap with a bell on Return, at a spectral centroid of 944 Hz. Its Bubble pops upwards at 576 Hz, the lowest of its 16 packs. Play both above to hear what your Mac would sound like.
